mithly mithlak

this is a caligraphy that I really love, it says mithly mithlak (mithly means gay, but when you say mithly mithlak together it means we are both equal, or there are no differences between us somethung like that, and then you have salam waqubool, which means peace and acceptance. a very meaningful and beutiful piece of caligraphy :D

introduction

ok the first post naturally should be an introduction of who I am, there you go.
A 19 yo Palestinian Student from Ramallah. Studying abroad. I am an atheist and Gay at the sametime.not the best combination in the world i Know, especially if you come from an arabic country. Yes I am for real. Yes there are Palestinian atheists. and yes just like any other country
in the world there are gay Palestinians.
I'm pretty sure that this blog will offend many people, and will surprise many more, but I've been brought up in a democratic house where u can say and believe in anyting you want, this is easy when it comes to atheism as all my family n friends know that I don't believe in God. since my parents are not religious, this is not a problem, many of my friends think that I'm crazy but they respect me n respect my beliefs. on the otherhand this is the only place where I can express my gay self proudly and without fear, untill now at least. as I hope that Palestine will be just like lebanon one day and hopefully even better.
